Garden Maintenance Team Member
Help grow our team of dedicated garden nerds in maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. Experience is great, but not necessary.
Qualifications: Love of the outdoors and ability to work in all types of weather. Physically able to stoop, bend, stand and walk 8 hours a day. Able to lift and carry 50 pounds for extended periods of time. Ability to maintain a consistent work pace and follow directions. Strong eye for detail, team player and willingness to learn
Helpful but not required: In-depth knowledge of how to care for perennials and ornamental shrubs. Able to ID those plants most common in the Richmond area. Strong hand pruning skills. Experience within the last two years with a professional residential landscaping company or a public garden; strong eye for detail, team player; valid Virginia driver’s license, Horticultural degree.
Benefits: Health Insurance, holidays, vacation time and continuing education. Team members that are passionate about plants.
Salary Range: $16-$20 (Experience dependent)
Project Team Member
Help grow our team of hardworking professionals and experience the pleasure of transforming and customizing a variety of outdoor spaces.
Qualifications: Love of the outdoors and ability to work in all types of weather. Physically able to stoop, bend, stand and walk 8 hours a day. Able to lift and carry 50 pounds for extended periods of time. Ability to maintain a consistent work pace and follow directions. Strong eye for detail, team player. Thrives on working in different environments and utilizing a variety of skill sets. Willingness to learn.
Helpful but not required: In-depth knowledge of plant installation. Thorough understanding of how to hand prune a variety of shrubs and small trees. Strong plant ID skills and understanding of plant growth habits. Experience within the last two years with a professional residential landscaping company or for a public garden; valid Virginia driver’s license, Horticultural degree.

Project Team Leader
Love variety and working with clients and designers to turn a vision into reality? Thrive on teaching team members new skills? Join us and share your talents.
Qualifications: 3+ years’ experience with a professional company or public garden (within the last 4 years) managing a crew of 2+ people to implement landscape plans, do seasonal pruning, general property clean up. Able to ID those plants most common in the Richmond area. Ability to efficiently organize and implement work plans. Able to problem solve with client and team members. Understands the importance of clear communication with client, team members and supervisor. Able to operate sod stripper, dingo (or equivalent) skid steer. Valid driver’s license. Able to safely drive truck and trailer.
